Fire officer I is a Texas Commission on Fire Protection course that trains students to meet the job performance levels of Fire fighter 2 as defined in NFPA 101, Standard for Fire Fighter professional Qualifications, and Fire Instructor 1 as defined in NFPA 1041, Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications.
